Day 1 (Pre Tour) - Arrival in Geneva
Guests arrive at Geneva International Airport and are greeted by Sovereign Guardian Angels who will provide welcome amenities as you wait to be loaded into the private luxury sedans that will deliver you to our Geneva hotel.
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests are pre-keyed into each of their appointed rooms and will be given the Day 1 European Tour newsletter that will identify the day's events at the Sovereign guest reception desk.
We will then enjoy a full dinner and first night's lecture with your Ligonier Teaching Fellows.

Day 2 (Pre Tour) - Geneva
After a full breakfast and lecture, we will begin exploring Calvin's historic Geneva. Located today on the border of Switzerland and France at the southwest end of Lake Geneva, the city of Geneva was the seat of John Calvin's ministry from 1536 to 1538 and from 1541 to 1564.
The Reformation in Geneva was not easy, but its impact was felt around the world. This morning, our group will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Geneva with a local guide, visit St. Pierre Cathedral, tour John Calvin's home and study, see the Reformation Wall, and stop at what is held as the traditional gravesite of Calvin at Cimetière des Rois.
Tonight we will enjoy a traditional Swiss meal and local entertainment.

Day 3 (Pre Tour) - Geneva to Lucerne
After a full breakfast, we will worship together and celebrate John Calvin's birthday. After a final drive around Lake Geneva, we will then depart via luxury motor coach for a beautiful drive through the Swiss countryside.
Our final destination tonight will lead us to the magical city of Lucerne where you will have the opportunity to dine on your own in this eclectic town of artisans.

Day 4 (Pre Tour) - Lucerne to Zurich
Our day begins with a full European breakfast and then a departure to ascend Mt. Pilatus for fantastic views of the Swiss landscape.
After our time on the mountain we will have a short ride into Zurich, check into our hotel, and enjoy a lecture and meal with Ligonier teaching fellows at the hotel.

Day 5 (Pre Tour) - Zurich
After a full breakfast and lecture, we will explore Zurich. Located in the north central part of Switzerland, Zurich marks the location where Huldrych Zwingli initiated the Swiss Reformation in 1519.
Zwingli died in 1531 defending Zurich from a military attack, and his Reformation work was taken up by Heinrich Bullinger. The city of Zurich boasts several historic landmarks including Grossmunster and Fraumunster.
This afternoon's city sightseeing with a local guide includes Grossmunster, the cathedral at which Zwingli preached for twelve years, and the Monastery church.
This evening we will have our final dinner and lecture of the pre-cruise tour with our Ligonier teaching fellows.

Day 6 - Zurich (Departure)
After enjoying a continental breakfast, Sovereign's Guardian Angels will assist you to your
private chauffeured cars to depart to Zurich International Airport.

The rate for your tour includes conference fees, taxes and gratuities, luxury accommodations, luxury coaches, dynamic conference times with our speakers, and concierge service from Sovereign's Guardian Angels throughout your entire journey.
Fees NOT Included: Airfare, excess baggage rates, meals not included in the itinerary, all items of a personal nature such as laundry, cleaning, telephone, telex or fax expenses, beverages including tea and coffee (except at breakfast), wines, liquors or soft drinks. A local tipping guideline will be provided with the customer documents for any service purchased by guests on their own.

To fully participate in this tour, you must be able to walk long distances, have good balance capabilities and be able to walk on uneven terrain.
