Jan Hus Prague Pre-Tour, Elbe River Cruise, and Life of Luther Post-Tour


Please consider joining us in 2017 as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the birth of the Protestant Reformation with an Elbe River cruise and visits to Hus' Prague and Luther's Wittenberg. Our time will be spent visiting sites important to the German Reformation as we explore the enduring importance of the teaching recovered by these men. Ligonier Teaching Fellows will lecture on the events, significance, and personalities of the Protestant Reformation during this tour, which should be an enriching time of fellowship and study for all. The truth prevails in this intense teaching tour in Prague that will examine the courageous stand for truth by Jan Hus. We will visit Bethlehem Chapel where Hus challenged Roman Catholic teaching, Prague Castle, head to Hus' hometown, Husinec, visit Hus' worship site at the old Linden tree, and explore this truly unique city.

  Dr. W. Robert Godfrey is president and professor of church history at Westminster Seminary California. He is a visiting professor in the doctor of ministry program at the Ligonier Academy of Biblical and Theological Studies. His many books include God's Pattern for Creation, Reformation Sketches, and An Unexpected Journey.
  Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr. is president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., where he also serves as the Joseph Emerson Brown Professor of Christian Theology. His many books include The Conviction to Lead, Culture Shift, Atheism Remix, and We Cannot Be Silent. Dr. Mohler is host of the popular podcast The Briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian perspective, and Thinking in Public.
  Stephen J. Nichols is president of Reformation Bible College, chief academic officer for Ligonier Ministries, and a Ligonier teaching fellow. He was formerly research professor of Christianity and culture at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa. A member of the Evangelical Theological Society, he chairs the society's Jonathan Edwards Study Group. He teaches on the podcast 5 Minutes in Church History and has written many books, including For Us and For Our Salvation, Jonathan Edwards: A Guided Tour of His Life and Thought, Welcome to the Story, and Peace.
