The Pilgrims and America's Founding Fathers Experience
Our Pilgrims and America's Founding Fathers Experience will be held September 25–October 3, 2014. Beginning in Boston and ending in Philadelphia, we will see important historic sites such as Salem, Provincetown, and Cape Cod in Massachusetts; Princeton and Yale Universities; Independence Hall in Philadelphia; and many others. Along the way, we will consider the lives and ministries of figures such as George Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards, whose Christian worldview influenced the founding fathers of the United States. We will also examine the theology of B.B. Warfield, Charles Hodge, and other Princetonians.
Dr. Steven J. Lawson and Dr. Stephen Nichols will be our tour leaders, and you will be enlightened as they share their theological and historical reflections on the role of Christianity—and the Reformed tradition in particular—in the establishment of the United States.
